Herington PBC membership to be amended

The Herington City Commission has agreed to amend the membership of a Public Building Commission formed in 2010 when the city assumed ownership of the Homestead Independent Living Complex from the Herington Municipal Hospital.
Briggs claims fourth state 4A CC championship

Chapman High School senior Taylor Briggs earned her fourth straight Class 4A State Cross Country championship on Saturday. She ran the Wamego Country Club 5K course, completing the race in 18:18.96.
