Tammy’s life began on August 11, 1960 in Topeka, Kansas. She was the daughter of Richard L. and Barbara (Davis) Reitz. She attended college at Cloud County Community College. Tammy worked as a pellet packer for the Hodgdon Powder Company for 18 years. She was involved in Job’s Daughters and Girl Scouting as a youngster. Tammy was more than just a family person; she was passionate about her family. Her world revolved around them and she adored her children and grandchildren. Tammy loved to cook, and she loved to tent camp, as long as it was with her family. She also especially loved Halloween. She is survived by her mother Barbara Reitz; children Travis (Mindy) Reitz, Dustin (Janna) Smith, Nichole Ryff-Pitts, Joshua (Carrie) Ryff, Matthew (Tara) Ryff and Makayla Forichette; 20 grandchildren; her siblings Rob ( Julie) Reitz, Ron (Brenda) Reitz, Crissy (Chad) Cook, Cory ( Jenn) Reitz and Heidi (Billy) Bush and multiple nieces and nephews. Tammy, age 60, passed away on October 12, 2020 at Herington Hospital. She is preceded in death by her father Richard. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Phyllis Ruth (Sanford) Steinford, 76 passed away peacefully at home on October 18, 2020. She was born on June 16, 1944 in Wakefield, Kansas to William and Ruth (Lawson) Sanford and attended the Wakefield Schools. She married William Steinford on November 22, 1962. She lived her entire married life on the family farm near Industry, raising two children, Chrystine and Mark. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother Robert and daughter Chrystine and her husband Kyle Moore. She is survived by her husband William of Wakefield and her son, Mark of Salina, brother, Glen Sanford of Miami, Oklahoma. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date at Green Ridge Cemetery near Industry. Family will receive friends Thursday October 22, 2020 at Londeen’s Funeral Home in Chapman, 5PM-7PM. The family suggests memorials be given to the Wakefield Museum, Industry Methodist Church or the American Cancer Foundation. Kenneth Johnson, of rural Delavan, passed away at his home on Thursday, October 8. He was 98 years old.

Trellis J. Alt of El Dorado, KS passed away on October 5, 2020. She was born on October 17, 1947, the daughter of Wilfred and Esther (Brunner) Kohlieber. She graduated from Herington High School in 1965 and was united in marriage to Johnny M. Alt on September 12, 1965.
