There was a tall tree in my yard before I was old enough for school--at least it seemed awfully tall to me. My friend David was a bit older than I and he knew interesting things, like how to climb tall trees. He fascinated me. One day my mother came out of the house because she could no longer see me from the window. She called my name and I hollered back from the tree.
I had a beautiful experience today that took my breath away.
