Chapman athletes report for Summer training
“I love summer workouts because it forces people to work hard,” Head football and weights coach Kurt Webster tells his athletes when they’re done lifting each day. “Hard workers don’t accept mediocre. You have to build the foundation so when you get to the season, it’s the norm.”
Summer strength and conditioning workouts began on June 4 and will go all the way throughout the summer until July 26, taking off the week of July 4th. The high school weight room is open for all middle and high school athletes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for lifting, with Tuesday being an optional makeup day for high schoolers.
