Chapman Wrestling faces off with Concordia

The Irish wrestling took to the road again with a dual at Concordia on Thursday. Though Chapman lost the dual, the score wasn’t indicative of how well they actually did.

Chapman got things rolling with JV matches right off the bat. Sophomore Gannon Mosher lost a hard-fought match at 170 lbs. Mosher typically wrestles at 160, which gave Concordia the weight advantage. Freshman Brayden “Pin-asaurus” Lexow was up next at 220 lbs., doing what he does best: pinning fools that dare challenge him. To his competitor’s credit, he was able to last until the third period before getting pinned. Freshman Troy Boyd finished up the JV matches but didn’t think it was necessary to break a sweat. Troy pinned his opponent in just shy of 90 seconds.
