Gorillas grab 48-0 win over Herington
The Solomon High football team boosted its record to 4-0, defeating Herington on Friday, 48-0. The Railers hosted the game, which ended at 3:37 in the fourth quarter using the eight-man football mercy rule.
“Solomon out coached us and were much more physical. They did a great job,” conceded HHS Coach Cade Albert. Everyone just stepped in and we were a complete team tonight,” said SHS Coach Mike Kilgore. The Max Preps Website posted Dylan Hynes, Alex Herbel and Scott Robinson as players of the game for Solomon.
Herbel rushed for 122 yards on 22 carries, while Hynes tallied 78 on 14 carries.
