HHS goes 2-0, CHS splits matches

Volleyball teams from Herington, Centre and Wakefield met up last Thursday for a triangular in the HHS gym.

HHS finished the night 2-0, while Centre split matches, 1-1.

“We played well against Wakefield and Centre. It was nice to play on our homecourt and get two wins,” said HHS Coach Lisa Beye.

“We came back off of a two-week break and didn’t play terrible with only two practices before Thursday night,” said CHS Coach Karen Nickel. The Lady Cougars just completed a Covid-19 exposure quarantine.
