Lady Heat go 1-1 at home

HOPE — The Rural Vista volleyball squad split a pair of non-conference matches Oct. 5, hosting Minneapolis.

Coach Adam Sobba said, “Overall, I thought we played very well most of the night. They did some things that we haven’t seen this year so it really challenged us. We had to make adjustments throughout the night to try and slow their offense down and we did a great job most of the night.”

The Lady Heat defeated MHS, 25-17, 25-19, in one match.

Meghan Brockmeier led the team in kills, with nine, while Kacie Acres followed, with six.
